Reverie
Amador County
Reverie is a classic Rhônes style rosé. It's a blend of Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre both specifically harvested for the purpose of making a rosé. We fermented the grapes to dryness and still be fruit forward and expressive. Reverie has some raspberry notes in the flavor with grapefruit and roses in the aromatics. Grenache Noir provides the aromatics while Mourvèdre provides the rich body and red fruit. We wanted this to be a fun summer wine, so we finished off with a bit of a spritz.

Tasting Notes

Wildflowers and Wine is coming up and we want to release something new for the coming of Spring. We opened a bottle of Reverie a couple of months ago and it was definitely needing time. We revisited the wine today to see if we could potentially release it for the festival and wow! It has transformed completely. The aromatics are still a litle subdued from when we bottled it, but the flavors are coming through beautifully.
