Mystery
Amador County
We call this wine 'Mystery' because we never know what it will be from year to year. It is a red blend created by our top-tier Conspiracy Club members each year. In 2022, club members Holger Hornish and Tiffany Phillips created a wonderfully balanced and food friendly blend of Barbera, Syrah and Petite Sirah. Subtle tannins come from a small amount of Petite Sirah and vibrant acidity comes from the majority being Barbera. Syrah contributes berries and earthiness as well as aromatics.

Tasting Notes
2024-02-16
We decided to have Mystery as one of the featured wines for the upcoming Wildflower and Wine festival, so we thought we should try it and see how it has progressed. We're very happy to say that it is everything that we were hoping for! Although this is a lighter red, the bright acidity will let it hold up against all kinds of foods...especially red sauce Italian!
